Political debate surrounding migrants is usually negative and ill informed. Some intelligent people at the University of Oxford set out to give objective and accurate analysis to the media and politicians alike. Clear presentation of information was critical and it needed to work in high profile media channels, reflecting the authority of the university.
The ‘O’ design portrays the flow of migrants in a global context and was applied across a range of materials. Then, faster than you can say ‘informing debates on international and public policy’, the graphics were used as a backdrop on BBC Two’s Newsnight. Nigel Farage bloody loved them.
Cream Design’s work for The Migration Observatory at Oxford University has been brilliant. The logo has had excellent feedback and has become a core part of our branding and website. I can highly recommend Cream for innovative and impactful branding and design.
