Reading Football Club

The challenge

A new season can only mean one thing. A new kit from Puma and this one’s got hoops!

The solution

Not for the first time, we looked back to move forward. Jack Mansell was Reading’s (somewhat underrated) manager from 1969 to 1972 and was instrumental in Reading returning to their traditional hoops in the early 70s. A simple #ThanksJack retro identity was paired with historic playing shots for the pre-launch, before the Madejski changing rooms became the venue for some suitably moody players. And photography, which formed the basis for the on-sale campaign.

What we did

  • Campaign identity
  • Photography
  • Literature design
  • Poster design
  • Digital design
  • Social media design
  • Advertising campaign
  • Architectural graphics

What they said

The team at Cream Design are a dream to work with! They provide fantastic creative support and innovative ideas for new projects season after season, the look and feel of each Reading FC kit launch is a perfect example of this.
