First Friday Club

The challenge

A fledgling club was starting to give business people in Reading a platform on which to network. Taking place in a nightclub on a monthly basis, its emphasis was on fun rather than formal, but they wanted to take things a step further, showing off the club’s energy and vibrant atmosphere.

The solution

We gave them a flexible brand identity, emanating from a graphic device that hints at the number of business contacts you’re likely to encounter. Membership has doubled since we’ve come on board and the club now tours Reading’s more exclusive hotels and restaurants, including Pentahotel, Novotel, Malmaison and Jamie’s Italian. While the club’s success is not all down to us, we like to think we’re a pukka partner.
